Brothers Lazaroff - Jump Starts - Marmalakes
BROTHERS LAZAROFF may not be in the middle of a family feud, but anyone caught in the wake of their brand of psychedelic rock, groove and soul infused Americana will be left feeling punch drunk. Brothers Jeff and David Lazaroff formerly wrote all of their tunes via long distance collaboration, with Jeff calling St. Louis home and David living in Austin. Together with band members Grover Stewart on drums, Teddy Brookins on bass and Mo Egeston on keyboards, BROTHERS LAZAROFF twist and turn their way through the back roads of Americana with brief stops at noise-rock, acid-jazz, drum 'n bass and neo-soul along the way.
BROTHERS LAZAROFF release their latest album "Science Won" in April 2012, following up 2010's Give ‘em What They Need, 2009's release American Artifact and 2007’s Pure Delight.

Since their inception, Jump Starts have played live at St. Louis’ community radio station KDHX, as well as several venues around the city, opened for up-and-coming national acts Breathe Owl Breathe and Caroline Smith and the Good Night Sleeps, and recorded their debut album Ready, Set, Go...
